Student Life

Chartwell students are known for their diverse passions and deep curiosity. Each year we offer a wide range of clubs that reflect current students’ areas of shared interest and desired learning. Past clubs have included:

  • Woodshop
  • Digital Music
  • Skate Boarding
  • Street Hockey
  • Hiking
  • Biking
  • Rock Climbing
  • Surfing
  • Robotics
  • Theater
  • Community Service, and more.

Throughout the year, social events are organized including a schoolwide community service project, pizza and popsicle days, holiday-specific celebrations, field days, spring formal, and more.

Additionally, as part of our project-based learning approach, two weekend trips are coordinated around specific curricular themes each year. These trips provide the opportunity for student bonding and build a strong sense of community and culture.
