Summer 2026

Summer Program Registration is Now OPEN!
Chartwell School’s Summer CORE Program is academically focused and open to students transitioning into Grades 1-8 who would benefit from specialized instruction or would like to maintain progress achieved over the preceding academic year. Designed to reinforce and build upon each student’s literacy, math and STEAM skills, the program offers hands-on activities that spark the imagination and curiosity. Students are active and socially engaged throughout the day.
Our goal is to guide children toward becoming healthy, curious, and confident learners. And, for students planning to attend Chartwell in the fall, the summer program is also a great way to become acquainted with our faculty, other students, and our expansive campus. This head start on academic and social learning ensures a smooth and successful transition in the fall.
Students rotate between Literacy Skills, Math Skills, and a STEAM/Makers curriculum:
- Literacy Skills: Students develop reading skills, reading comprehension skills, writing, organizational skills, and study skills.
- Math Skills: Students work on reviewing math concepts and growing their skills and proficiency.
- STEAM/Makers Program: Students practice principles of science through technology, engineering, art, and mathematics while answering an essential question using a hands-on and project-based-learning model.

Information about the 2026 Application Process
Registration Opening Dates:
January 1 - Chartwell Families

The effectiveness of Chartwell's summer instruction depends on our ability to create small groupings of students with similar learning profiles. We work hard to ensure every student who would benefit from the summer instruction matches with a group, but we cannot always guarantee space. For this reason, every applicant's submission is reviewed prior to being accepted into the program to ensure the best learning experience for every learner. It is an intentional, fluid process that we will work through together after you complete the application.
Please complete the form and submit the application along with the $250 reservation fee for Chartwell's Summer Program 2026. This fee will reserve a spot for your student pending a screening interview to assure the program is a good fit for your child. The $250 Reservation Fee will either be applied to your total tuition amount or, if it is determined the program is not a good fit, the fee will be refunded.
