As part of the Technology curriculum, Middle School students construct robots using Lego Mindstorms EV3 kits. They build a driving base in teams and use Lego Mindstorms software to program it to complete missions, such as a sumo wrestling match or a First Lego League Team Challenge.
Robotics is also offered as an enrichment class in the summer, in which students design and build a robot to complete missions designed by Lego.

In the spring, Middle School students can participate in a club that meets on weekends to design a Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV). Students build their ROV out of PVC pipe, bilge pump motors, wire and switches to compete in the regional MATE (Marine Advanced Technology Education) ROV Competition. They form a company, complete with roles and job descriptions, and present their product at the underwater competition in May.
