Tillie F. is a dedicated artist, business owner, and entrepreneur, all of which she juggles while being a lower school student at Chartwell. Tillie is the visionary and owner of Tillies Doodles, an online store featuring whimsical and imaginative hand-drawn characters that are brought to life on t-shirts and tote bags.

This year, Chartwell’s High School Leadership class has taken a strategic leap in committing to real-world application, structured support, and deeply embedding the Chartwell culture into student life.

The Science Overnight to Scotts Valley in early November turned into a powerful lesson in adaptability and resilience for Chartwell’s middle school students. At the beginning of October, 50 high school students and 10 Chartwell team members journeyed to Ojai, California, for three days of exploration, bonding, and fun. The overnight trip encompasses many of the key components from the high school program - outdoor education, social-emotional learning, and fostering a sense of exploration and curiosity.

Chartwell School is proud to announce that it has received a $20,000 grant from the American Water Charitable Foundation (AWCF) in support of its Outdoor Education and Watershed Stewardship Program. This award will help expand Chartwell’s outdoor learning spaces, promote environmental stewardship, and strengthen community engagement through hands-on education.

The Chartwell Education Plan is more than just a goal-monitoring document; it is a dynamic roadmap built around the unique needs of each student. By assessing progress three times a year, utilizing the SMART framework, and remaining completely flexible, the CEP ensures that every student's educational experience evolves as they do.
