Ways to Give

Chartwell is grateful for gifts made by cash, check, or credit card, including MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover. Donations can be made online or by calling the Advancement Office. If you prefer to write a check, please make it payable to Chartwell School and mail to:

Pledges allow you to plan and distribute your gift to Chartwell according to your needs. To make a pledge that you will pay at a later date, you can email the following information to Elena Mueller, director of advancement and communications, at emueller@chartwell.org:

• Your name,
• Pledge amount,
• Your preferred method of payment, and
• The date you would like to process the donation.

Many companies have matching gift programs that will match charitable contributions given by their employees. Some will even match gifts made by retirees and spouses. To enroll in a matching gift program, contact your human resources office for the appropriate forms and forward them with your gift to Chartwell School for completion.

Many businesses allow employees to set up payroll deductions for their charitable donations through the United Way, CFCC, or another workplace giving program. Simply sign up through your employer to automatically have your donation sent to Chartwell.

Chartwell School welcomes the donation of goods useful to our educational programs. Please contact the Advancement Office at advancement@chartwell.org to arrange a gift.

Gifts may be made in honor or memory of an individual on the occasion of an anniversary, birthday, graduation, or other important life event. The family members of those being remembered or the individual so honored receives notification of the gift identifying the donor but without specifying the amount of the gift.

Gifts to Chartwell can be made through a will, trust, or other estate plan vehicle. In addition to providing vital support for our school, planned gifts often carry significant tax advantages for the donor. Please visit our Planned Giving section for more information.
