Enhancing the Chartwell Experience

Established in 1993, A Party in a Pear Tree was one of the most successful comings together of our parent and friend community to raise funds for the school at a critical moment in its history. It became a longstanding tradition and a significant source of funding for the school’s annual operating needs and tuition assistance.

The school adopted The Pear - a historical symbol of abundance, longevity, comfort, and wisdom - as the name of our annual fund. This connection is a reminder of our community’s generosity, strength, and commitment to growth.

The Pear Fund at Chartwell is extremely important because it provides resources that support all facets of student life. Your support of The Pear Fund enhances the Chartwell educational experience by providing funds for academic programs, athletics, art, music, technology, and financial aid.

Every gift, regardless of size, matters and has an immediate and profound impact on Chartwell students. Community support is a vital part of what makes Chartwell a school that is capable of transforming lives and you are an important part of this success. All contributions qualify for a charitable tax receipt to the extent provided by law.

Chartwell transformed my child's life. He regained confidence in himself and found a passion to learn that he had never had before. I give to the Pear Fund because I want this opportunity for every child who feels limited by their learning differences.
