Safety at Chartwell
At Chartwell, the safety and well-being of our students and staff are a priority. This page brings together the practices, partnerships, and tools that help us prepare for, respond to, and communicate during an emergency. We use the Standard Response Protocol and Titan HST as our emergency communication system. Below, you'll find how these work, what to expect, and how families can help us keep our school safe.
Incident & Emergency Management
Chartwell uses the Standard Response Protocol (SRP) to provide a clear, consistent approach to emergencies. The SRP gives students, staff, and first responders a shared language and a common set of actions, so everyone knows what to do and what to expect, no matter the situation. Below are the five protocols and their descriptions. You can also download a printable flyer of the protocols here.

COntact
Reach out to John Langrill, director of infrastructure technology and safety compliance, at jlangrill@chartwell.org or 831-394-3468 with any questions or safety concerns.
Emergency Notifications
Chartwell uses Titan HST to communicate with families and staff during an emergency, sharing timely, verified updates so you know what's happening and what to do next. We test the system twice a year to keep our community connected, so please keep your contact information current in FACTS or email info@chartwell.org with updates.
Reunification
Reunification is something no one hopes to experience, but knowing the process ahead of time makes a real difference. Chartwell invites you to watch A Grownup's Guide to Reunification, a video that explains what causes a reunification, where to go, what to bring, and why the steps are designed to keep every student safe.
