How Learning Shapes a Lifetime of Health

October 2, 2025 | 8:00–9:30 AM **ADJUSTED TIME**
Chartwell School – McMahan Hall
2511 Numa Watson Rd, Seaside, CA
Tickets: $35 | Sponsorships Available

Join us for an extraordinary morning of insight, conversation, and connection with world-renowned UCSF neuroscientist Dr. Marilu Gorno-Tempini—a leader in the fields of memory, aging, and early learning.

As a pioneer in neuroscience and co-founder of the UCSF Dyslexia Center, Dr. Gorno-Tempini is transforming the way we understand the brain’s hidden pathways. Her groundbreaking research reveals how early learning experiences—especially for students with complex learning profiles—can have a powerful impact not just on academic success, but on long-term brain health and resilience.

At this exclusive breakfast event, you’ll learn:

  • Why early intervention is key to lifelong cognitive wellness

  • How schools like Chartwell are advancing new models of education through research-based partnerships

  • What neuroscience is teaching us about the connection between learning, thriving, and aging

Breakfast will be served from 8:00 - 8:30 AM, followed by Dr. Gorno-Tempini’s presentation and Q&A.

Whether you're an educator, policymaker, business leader, parent, or advocate for neurodiversity, this event offers a rare opportunity to explore how cutting-edge science is shaping a brighter future—for students, and for all of us.
