Clubs

In line with our philosophy that students should be able to help shape their educational experience, students are in complete control of what clubs are offered each Project Period. Four times per year, students meet to review and discuss club options before voting for the clubs they wish to partake in. Students are members of two clubs each Project Period, with clubs meeting on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 25 minutes.

The purpose of clubs is threefold:
  1. To expose students to new experiences that might become a serious interest
  2. To enrich a student’s understanding and knowledge
  3. To encourage social interactions and meaningful relationships

Some clubs that have been offered in the past are:

  • Mountain Biking
  • Associated Student Body
  • High School Leadership Team
  • Yearbook
  • Child Development
  • American Sign Language
  • Unstress
  • Music Appreciation
  • Short Film
  • Animal Care
  • Video Game Structure
