Many bright students with learning difficulties manage to struggle through elementary and middle school, but hit the wall when they encounter the increased academic demands of high school. TNHSP at Chartwell explicitly teaches essential academic skills and tracks student progress in: reading comprehension, note taking, test taking, research, writing, decoding/fluency/spelling, technology, and self-knowledge/responsibility/self-advocacy. We also focus heavily on development of study skills, time management, organization skills.
