The Chartwell Middle School Robotics Team, The Hypershock Bulldogs, took first place in a scrimmage held at the Apple Store at the Monterey Del Monte Center. This first year team under the direction of their coach, Topher Mueller, will now go on to compete at the Google headquarters in Mountain View. They will be competing against 12-16 other teams from the Silicon Valley area.The project the students are working on is an "Emergency Solar Desalination Kit." Congratulations to this talented team!
Students in all the Music Classes performed for their Lower and Middle School classmates in McMahan Hall. The students had been working since the beginning of the year and performed on guitar, recorder, and Orff Metallophones in addition to singing several Halloween-themed songs.

Chartwell School - for dyslexic learners
Eleven seniors were graduated from Chartwell High School in June. 100% of the graduates were accepted to college or university. Collectively they were awarded over $1.0 Million in scholarships and grants. All the graduates were accepted at one of their top three college choices.
